Abstract
⺠A decision-support tool is built for canal network management in Afghanistan. ⺠The tool is applied to a case study in the Balkh Province. ⺠The effects of various policy alternatives are analyzed. ⺠Reservoir construction and conveyance efficiency improvement have similar benefits. ⺠Equal water rights among all users can distribute wealth through the canal network.
