Abstract
⺠We model how to make sense of information in networks with noise. ⺠We find simple decision rules can be highly effective at sorting through distortion. ⺠These rules compared and contrasted information from multiple sources. ⺠Fitness increased with more independent sources of information. ⺠Fitness remained high even if the population was composed entirely of distorters.
