Abstract
⺠Invariants are polynomial expressions that vanish in any steady state of a network. ⺠They characterise networks arising in various biological contexts. ⺠We introduce an efficient linear method for calculating certain types of invariants. ⺠This exploits Chemical Reaction Network Theory for networks of arbitrary deficiency. ⺠The new method reveals robustness in complex bifunctional enzymes.
