Abstract
⺠We study the “Traveler's Dilemma” from the perspective of evolutionary game theory. ⺠Human behavior in the laboratory is inconsistent with the predictions of classical game theory. ⺠We apply stochastic evolutionary dynamics with varying mutation rates and intensity of selection. ⺠We exhibit a stochastic model that quantitatively reproduces the behavior observed in a past experiment.
