Abstract
⺠I study synergistic effects in the Prisoner's Dilemma game. ⺠Any homogeneous population structure is in the scope of this study. ⺠Interaction neighborhood and dispersal neighborhood can also be arbitrary. ⺠Under certain assumptions, cooperation never evolves even if synergy is present.
