Extinction conditions for Y-linked mutant-alleles through two-sex branching processes with blind-mating structure

► We introduce a new two-sex branching process with blind-mating structure. ► We study how the number of carriers of a Y-linked allele and its mutations evolves. ► Conditions for extinction/survival of the original allele are provided. ► The destiny of the mutations in the population is studied.
