Abstract
► Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) infects one-third of the world's human population. ► We model the life cycle of T. gondii in a farm using an agent-based approach. ► Most cats are infected through preying on infected mice. ► Most mice are infected through vertical transmission than oocysts. ► Intermediate virulent lineages can sustain the disease most efficiently.
