Abstract
⺠Cheiracanthium inclusum survived 6-8à longer on extrafloral nectar and honeydew than water. ⺠Spider consumption of sugar solutions is not related to a need for moisture. ⺠Hibana futilis readily fed on six sugar components of nectar and honeydew; C. inclusum found maltose distasteful. ⺠All component sugars tested improved H. futilis spiderling survival.
