Abstract
► A collection of native rizospheric Pseudomonas sp. from alfalfa was established. ► In vitro screening and genotypic approach were assessed in the isolates collection. ► Antagonistic isolates were more frequent in alfalfa planted in previously natural grassland. ► Genotypic fingerprinting can be a suitable screening approach for this system. ► Plant assays showed five isolates with significant biocontrol and promotion effects.
