Abstract
► We report on biocontrol of Ampelomyces quisqualis against powdery mildews. ► Strains of A. quisqualis exibited a different level of mycoparasitic activity. ► Mycoparasitic activity may be explained by the genotype and fungal host. ► A. quisqualis strains differed for production of cell wall degrading enzymes. ► Chitobiase and protease activity can be associated with the mycoparasitic activity.
