Abstract
Genetic variability of Fusarium isolates associated with rhizome rot of ginger in Western Himalayas was assessed. Talc-based formulations of rhizobacterial strains and strain mixtures antagonistic to Fusarium spp. were assessed for rhizome rot control in ginger by polyhouse and field experiments. The performance and mechanism of rhizome rot suppression in ginger are discussed here.
