Abstract
⺠One of the very few reports on biological control of northern corn leaf blight (NCLB). ⺠Strain No.05 strongly reduce disease on detached maize leaves and on seedlings. ⺠Two antifungal substances are obtained from strain No.05 by bioassay-guided isolation. ⺠Chaetoglobosin A displays potent suppression of Setosphaeria turcica both in vitro and in planta.
