Abstract
⺠We examined the recruitment and mortality of Melaleuca quinquenervia in the Everglades. ⺠Post-biocontrol populations were 99% smaller than pre-biocontrol populations. ⺠Biocontrol agents did not increase mortality of weed seedlings. ⺠Weed invasion trajectory likely changed by depleted aerial seed banks.
