Abstract
⺠Older life-stages of both predators were more voracious than younger individuals. ⺠Two predators did not negatively interact. Instead, they had an additive effect. ⺠Predation potency of both predators on the rosy apple aphid was higher at 20 °C. ⺠Syrphid voracity was higher at 15 °C than at 25 °C and vice versa for earwigs. ⺠Both predators may be effective in regulating aphid numbers in early spring.
