Abstract
► Older life-stages of both predators were more voracious than younger individuals. ► Two predators did not negatively interact. Instead, they had an additive effect. ► Predation potency of both predators on the rosy apple aphid was higher at 20 °C. ► Syrphid voracity was higher at 15 °C than at 25 °C and vice versa for earwigs. ► Both predators may be effective in regulating aphid numbers in early spring.
