Abstract
⺠Ground cover management affects mite populations in citrus orchards. ⺠Type I and II phytoseiids consistently appeared in association with Festuca arundinacea. ⺠Type I and II phytoseiids were never found in association with bare soil. ⺠Type IV phytoseiids were predominant in trees associated with wild cover. ⺠Pollen availability may explain phytoseiid relative abundance in the covers.
