Abstract
⺠Novel methodology using agricultural frost cover to manipulate field floral resources. ⺠Evidence of uniform dispersal of hoverflies throughout lettuce fields. ⺠Presence of covers did not affect hoverfly dispersal ability. ⺠Floral resource provision could be significantly reduced saving variable costs.
