Abstract
⺠A model based on weed leaf area was used to predict crop yield affected by herbicide. ⺠The dose response of each weed species leaf area was included in model. ⺠Leaf area model permits to monitor the canopy and decide about reducing the dose. ⺠The model showed a better prediction than the former approach based on weed density.
