Abstract
► Pheromone-based monitoring predicting diamondback moth outbreaks in canola. ► Adults captured in pheromone traps did not consistently predict larval densities. ► Resident population establishment may improve reliability of traps to predict larvae. ► Similar number of moths in traps baited with lures changed at 3 and 6 week interval. ► Pheromone trap capture is more sensitive than sweep nets to indicate moth presence.
