Abstract
⺠335 maize varieties were evaluated in Ethiopia and Tanzania. ⺠Genotypic variability for stover fodder quality, grain and stover yields and their interrelationship. ⺠We observed significance difference for most traits in almost all trials. ⺠In most cases, we observed desirable relationship among traits. ⺠The study suggested the possibility for simultaneous improvement of grain yield and stover traits.
