Abstract
⺠Maize stover was found par with sorghum stover when used as major (50%) components of total mixed dairy rations. ⺠Significant variations exist in stover quantity among maize cultivars that can be exploited without compromising on grain yield. ⺠Selected germplasm with superior food and fodder traits appear a promising way to produce dual purpose maize hybrids.
