Abstract
- Garlic husk (GH) waste as an interesting new source of phenolic compounds.
- The highest extraction yield was achieved with water.
- 50/50 methanol-water extract showed the highest phenolic content, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities.
- LC-MS/MS analysis allowed identifying fourteen phenolic compounds in 50/50 methanol-water extract.
