Abstract
- Phenolic compounds were identified in honeysuckle, white-bryony and black-bryony.
- Honeysuckle showed the highest concentrations of phenolic compounds.
- The antioxidant activity was similar among the three assayed species.
- The prepared hydrosoluble gels kept the antioxidant activity.
- The studied species can be used in formulations for topical use.
