Abstract
ⶠZein and polyvinylpyrrolidone form a compatible blend. ⶠThis work represents the first compatible melt-processed blend of zein with a synthetic polymer. ⶠDifferential scanning calorimetry data for the blends showed single Tg values intermediate between the zein and PVP controls.
