Abstract
ⶠIsolation of sugarcane bagasse (SCB) cellulose under alkaline peroxide pre-treatment. ⶠIsolation and characterization of whiskers from pre-treated sugarcane bagasse at mild temperature (45 °C) and small extraction time (30 min). ⶠThe sugarcane bagasse whiskers had needle-like structures with a length of 255 ± 55 nm and diameter of 4 ± 2 nm and good thermal stability (255 °C).
