Abstract
ⶠToxic and non-toxic varieties of Jatropha curcas are chemically and genetically different. ⶠAn efficient method for plant regeneration through direct organogenesis from petiole explants of non-toxic J. curcas was developed. ⶠTDZ is most potent cytokinin for high-frequency plant regeneration.
