Abstract
▶ The composition of grape stalk in terms of lignin, sugars, ash, extractives and tannins contents was established. ▶ Extractives fraction was characterized by GC-MS and tannins by 13C NMR. ▶ Different processes for the pretreatment of grape stalk were compared.
