Abstract
ⶠThis work focuses on the use of chemically modified starch nanocrystals as sorbents for the removal of aromatic organic compounds from water. Best to our knowledge, such sorbent issued from biopolymer have never been reported. The viability of application of the modified nanocrystals for the removal aromatic organic contaminants in continuous mode was confirmed using a fixed bed column filled with modified nanoplatelets.
