Abstract
► We dissected the genetic relationship among rice chalkiness, protein and RVA profile. ► Significant correlation was detected among chalkiness, protein and RVA parameters. ► Seven QTLs were consistently detected across 3 environments and confirmed using CSSL. ► The Wx locus controlling chalkiness and most of viscosity parameters. ► The Alk locus was associated with protein content and most of viscosity parameters.
