Abstract
⺠The full complement of ferritin genes in wheat. ⺠Genomic localization of the genes to chromosome 4 and 5. ⺠The isolation of the promoter sequences of both genes and cis-element analysis. ⺠ABA and Iron regulated expression are linked to regulatory promoter elements. ⺠Biofortification of the endosperm using one of wheat's own ferritin genes.
