Abstract
⺠Low starch content of barley is a disadvantage in fuel ethanol production. ⺠Studied wet fractionation, after hull separation, to increase starch content. ⺠Wet method was similar to endosperm fiber separation step of corn wet milling. ⺠Product contained 10.1% higher starch than original flour. ⺠Cell wall coproduct with high fiber, beta-glucan and protein, has value as food.
