Abstract
⺠Distribution and composition of phytosterol compounds in wheat grain were studied. ⺠Phytosterols accumulate in aleurone and intermediate layers of wheat bran. ⺠Phytosterol composition varies within wheat kernel. ⺠Steryl ferulates accumulate in intermediate layers of wheat bran. âºÂ Steryl ferulate composition is similar in different parts of wheat kernel.
