Abstract
► We determine the distribution of β-glucans in lines and cultivars of barley. ► The content of β-glucans varied within the range from 4.04 to 5.71% d.m.. ► Microspectrophotometric analysis showed significant differences of the kernels' structure. ► Microspectrophotometric analysis showed significant differences in the distribution of β-glucans.
