Abstract
⺠Resource location by Tribolium castaneum was studied in the laboratory, glasshouse and field. ⺠Responses of walking T. castaneum to resources were twice as strong as when flying. ⺠Linted cotton seeds attracted five times more walking beetles than wheat or sorghum.
