Abstract
► Cowpeas stored in triple layer plastic bags on farms in Niger were well protected. ► Grain stored this way for as long as 18 months germinated well. ► Use of phostoxin or other insecticides with the bags is unnecessary. ► The mode of protection involves hermetic conditions.
