Abstract
⺠NIR hyperspectral imaging can be a non-destructive tool for detection of insect infestations. ⺠Detection of pupal and adult stages was better than egg or larval stages. ⺠Top three significant wavelengths were identified using principal component analysis. ⺠This data can be used to develop low cost multispectral systems for insect detection.
