Abstract
⺠Design and management of a large-scale, intensive RAS were addressed. ⺠A queuing-network, robust 6Ï design, and optimization models were developed, combined and applied. ⺠Design criteria-turnover, fish biomass density, culture tank utilization, accommodation of two species-were met. ⺠The solution reflects local aquatic conditions; methodology can be applied elsewhere.
