Abstract
⺠Diatoms are much more sensitive to dispersants and dispersed oil than to oil. ⺠Dispersed oil and dispersant cause membrane damage; oil does not. ⺠The transcriptomic profile resulting from exposure to oil, dispersant, and dispersed oil are very similar.
