Abstract
⺠Study of behavioral alterations after exposure to pyrethroids is of large interest. ⺠Swimming behavior is determinant for the survival of many species of aquatic animals. ⺠Few studies concerning effects of pyrethroids on ChE showed contradictory results. ⺠Results showed that swimming velocity inhibition was not related with ChE inhibition. ⺠Metabolic and physiological disturbances could be the cause of swimming velocity impairments.
