Abstract
⺠Influence of fisheries and climate change on whiting distribution in the North Sea. ⺠No clear shift in latitude and depth, but shift in longitude in the late 1940s-1960s. ⺠Results are in contrast to recent studies regarding latitude and depth. ⺠The longitudinal shift could not be related to fisheries or climate change.
