Abstract
⺠Accurate quantification of all oocyte types in ovaries obtained using sterology. ⺠Potential fecundity lower but relative fecundity higher than in other areas. ⺠Fecundity decreased significantly from recruitment to pre-spawning stages. ⺠Fecundity down-regulation and skipped spawning appeared related to fish condition.
