Abstract
⺠Ozone caused significant leaf lesions in a japonica rice cv. Sasanishiki. ⺠Total seed weight of an indica rice cv. Habataki was reduced by ozone. ⺠Ozone also reduced number of primary rachis branch and total spikelet number in Habataki. ⺠The QTL participating in total seed weight loss by ozone was found on chromosome 6. ⺠Ozone-exposure decreased APO1 expression level in Habataki.
