Abstract
⺠Wild diploid Arachis are sources of new traits for tetraploid cultivated peanut. ⺠In this work drought-related morpho-physiological traits were analyzed in Arachis genotypes. ⺠Most drought-related traits were changed by hybridization and tetraploidization of the diploids. ⺠To guide introgression, evaluations on synthetic tetraploids are likely to be most informative.
