Abstract
▶ Paraheliotropism in S. camporum is not related to leaf heat avoidance. ▶ S. camporum vertical leaves show high light use efficiency. ▶ The light use efficiency occurs in terms of CO2 consumption. ▶ The abaxial leaf surface of S. camporum is highly reflective. ▶ S. camporum abaxial leaf surfaces photosynthesize using direct red/blue light.
