Abstract
ⶠRootstock Solanum torvum is effective in reducing Cd in eggplant fruits. ⶠCd was accumulated around the endodermis and the pericycle in the root of S. torvum. ⶠLow ability to efflux Cd toward the xylem restricted Cd transport from root to shoot.
