Abstract
⺠The restructuring of BC's forest industry is triggered by both economic and institutional changes. ⺠Most large forest corporations have remained integrated producers of low-cost commodities. ⺠Canfor survived by a strategy of cost minimization, mass production, M&A and geographical expansion.
