Abstract
⺠This paper investigates regional inequality in Guangdong province, China. ⺠It follows the multi-scale and multi-mechanism framework. ⺠We have found a new round of intensifying inequality since the early 2000s. ⺠We have identified the core-periphery hierarchy of multi-mechanisms. âºÂ Policies are constrained by geographical barriers and the agglomeration effect.
