Abstract
⺠We developed a 60 m land cover timeline for a 10,000 km2 area in central U.S. ⺠Eclectic geospatial data were used to create compatible land cover maps 1857-2006. ⺠We improved mapping accuracy of 1975 GIRAS dataset, from 66.5% to 77.8%. ⺠In 149 y, wetlands decreased by 76%, accounted for by a 53% increase in agriculture.
