Abstract
⺠Older adults are becoming a larger share of the US population and, in particular, North Carolina. ⺠This analysis shows distinct migration patterns of amenity-seekers into North Carolina. ⺠More specifically, the mountainous west and the coastal east remain popular destinations. ⺠State policy analysts and planners can take proactive measures to prepare for this in-migration.
