Abstract
⺠We used a location-specific framework to study attitudes toward urban prairie dogs. ⺠Female residents were more favorable toward prairie dogs than men. ⺠Ecological knowledge was correlated with favorable attitudes toward prairie dogs. ⺠Our results indicate potential for Denver to reintroduce prairie dog colonies.
