Abstract
⺠A relatively new database (LEHD) is used to explore land-use-transportation relationships over time. ⺠LEHD is assessed in light of comparable datasets and research community needs. ⺠A series of commute metrics are calculated for a medium-sized urban area. ⺠Results point to stability in commute phenomena for the period of 2002-2010, despite the 2008-09 economic downturn. ⺠Differences are seen in commuting outcomes for worker income groups.
